The Agnieszka Derek Window Decoration Studio specialises in comprehensive window design – from consulting and measurements, through design and sewing, to installation. Our task was to refresh and modernise the website, adapt it to mobile devices and simplify navigation, while retaining the existing content and character of the brand.

Challenge
Our work involved organising scattered sections and longer subpages rich in photos to make it easier to quickly familiarise oneself with the offer and projects. The client wanted a consistent information structure and the introduction of a CMS enabling independent content updates. Another important element was adapting the website to mobile devices and speeding up the loading of graphic materials so that the whole thing would run smoothly and be ready for easy expansion in the future.
01Solution
We built a new version of the website based on Next.js and Tailwind CSS, using shadcn/ui components to create flexible layouts and consistent interface elements. Subpages rich in photos have been transformed into clear tabs and sliding galleries, which facilitates navigation and increases user comfort. The Contentful system has been implemented to manage content in the ‘Products’, “Projects” and ‘Knowledge Base’ sections, allowing them to be updated independently. The entire site was published on Vercel, ensuring high performance and readiness for further expansion.

Content management system integration
We prepared content models for key areas such as ‘Products’, “Projects” and ‘Knowledge Base’, and then linked them to dedicated subpages. Editing takes place in a simple panel where you can add, update and organise materials without the involvement of developers. Standardised field schemes prevent chaos, and predefined views ensure a consistent look and feel throughout the website.
Visual layer and components
We have implemented a consistent UI component library that ensures uniform behaviour of elements across the entire website. The layouts are responsive and flexible, based on Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui. This approach has simplified maintenance, enabled the rapid creation of new subpages, and maintained the visual consistency of the website. As a result, the website looks modern and runs smoothly on any device.
Performance and Core Web Vitals
We made sure to optimise images, load only necessary resources, and ensure the correct header structure. As a result, the website responds faster and Core Web Vitals metrics remain stable. The priority was to provide a real sense of speed: elements appear immediately, and the user is not held up by unnecessary loading screens. This has translated into a comfortable user experience on both desktop and mobile devices.
Interface and navigation design
Based on content analysis and user paths, we have reorganised the information architecture and simplified navigation. Key sections have been arranged in card-gallery layouts, which shorten the path to the most important materials and make it easier to compare elements. Thanks to clear headings and predictable interaction patterns, users can find the information they need more quickly, and the whole site remains clear even when new modules are added.
